WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Let’s get straight to it: why am I starting this blog? Honestly… procrastination and I have been good friends for a long time. But in that delay, something was happening. God was growing me, healing me, purifying me. I’ve realized that sometimes what we call “issues” or “obstacles” are really just part of His process, and waiting for the perfect time to start. That’s a myth.

The truth is, the Christian walk is a journey of continuous transformation. Whether I start writing in the “middle” or “beginning” of my story doesn’t matter; there’s always a perspective to share, a lesson to uncover, and something God can use to encourage someone else.

If you’d met me over a decade ago, I probably would’ve shown you a shiny portfolio of wins and positions. Eight years ago, I might have layered it with more achievements, sprinkled with the polished mask I wore in some of my darkest days. But today? I don’t feel the need to lead with my résumé or hide my scars. Both the good and the bad have shaped me into who I am now.

For now, here’s what I’ll tell you: I’m a woman. A pastor’s wife. A daughter. A mother. A leader. A teacher. A volunteer. Creative Arts Staff. Some of those roles shift depending on the season. I’ve been a victim, an offender, steady as a rock at times, and other times a complete mess. I hope you catch my drift. I’m human, and I’m still in process. But the most important things I’ve discovered are that God deeply loves me, that I am His child, and that His grace is sufficient for me.

That’s why I’ve named this space Spiritually Tuned. Life isn’t a “perfect pitch” performance. Tuning, whether it’s an instrument or our hearts, is a process. It means adjusting, stretching, replacing, listening, cleaning, and refining. And when it comes to our faith, it’s about surrendering every part of our lives to God so He can bring us into harmony with Him, a holistic approach that touches every area of who we are.

I promise to be real here. Vulnerability isn’t always easy, and it comes with risk. But if anything I share can spark hope, bring encouragement, or shine a little light into someone’s “dark mode” season, then it’s worth it.
